York Region Transit 1065-1072, 1160-1162

York Region Transit 1065-1072 and 1160-1162 are ElDorado E-Z Rider II BRT buses built in 2010 and delivered in 2011 as one batch. Upon entering service, these buses replaced 102, 106, 108 and 111, with the remaining 7 for service expansion.

Along with their sister units 1060-1064, these are the first E-Z Rider II BRTs ordered by York Region Transit, and the first E-Z Riders to be ordered with American Seating InSight seats and TwinVision Amber LED designation signs. Unlike the demo of the E-Z Rider BRT, the front window is made up of two sections divided in half. Like the D40LFR order earlier in 2010, these buses were delivered with extra exterior cameras. Unlike the 1060-1064 series which are equipped with EPA 2007 engines, this series of buses are equipped with EPA 2010 engines.

1065 and 1066 received minor interior changes in late August 2016 in preparation for service on new route 320 Newmarket-Beaver Creek Express. The changes included reupholstered high-back seat cushions and an exterior wrap promoting the new service.
