York Region Transit 1188-1197 is wheelchair accessible.

York Region Transit 1188-1197 were 2012 Arboc Spirit of Mobility (SOM28D) bodied buses on Chevrolet 4500 chassis built and delivered in late 2012. Upon entering service, they replaced 591-598.

Originally these units were used as part of the Mobility Plus fleet out of Southwest Division. Beginning in 2013, some units were converted to conventional service, with their Mobility Plus decals replaced with Community Bus decals, and their route number is indicated by a small non-electronic sign beside the door. 1189 received a Hanover LED destination sign in May 2016, with the rest of the units assigned to conventional service being equipped by the end of the year.

In July 2013, 1194-1197 were moved to North Division to provide service on routes 61 and 520/521. 1191-1193 were also transferred to North Division in early 2014. 1189-1190 began use as backup vehicles on routes 589/590 in April 2014. In 2016, 1197 transferred back to Mobility Plus, and 1191 moved to Mobility Plus to be used as a backup vehicle for DAR North service.
