York Region Transit 1615-1621
York Region Transit 1615-1621 are Nova Bus LFS buses built and delivered in 2016. They were purchased through the Metrolinx Transit Procurement Initiative.
These units were ordered as expansion units in anticipation of the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension, and the takeover of TTC-contracted routes in Vaughan. However, since the opening date for the extension was delayed to December 2017, the buses were stored from delivery in December 2016 until September 2017.
