York Region Transit 571-585

York Region Transit 571-585 are New Flyer D40LF buses built and delivered in 2005. They were delivered to replace older vehicles and increase service.

The order was supposed to be numbered 557-572, but due to a delay in the deliveries, the second order of E-Z Riders were renumbered to 557-570 and the D40LFs took their current numbers.

582-585 and 605-606 were initially assigned to Southwest Division until August 2008 when they were re-allocated by York Region to Southeast Division. 571, 572 and 576 were transferred from Southeast to West Division in August/September 2023.

This series of buses began their mid-life refurbishment starting in Spring 2015 and last bus was completed by April 2016.
