History

• November 20, 2005 - Route 260 was a short-lived GO shuttle route. The GO shuttle was meant to connect the community of Maple to the Rutherford GO Station to alleviate car traffic out of the busy station.

• September 2, 2007 - Unfortunately, ridership only averaged 9 riders per day, and with 8 trips scheduled every day, the route became unprofitable. Therefore, YRT ended service on this route.
