History
- June 30, 2008 - Initially, the route was sponsored by Smart Commute 404-7 when it was formed in 2005. On this date, the route officially became a YRT shuttle route as a collaboration between the Town of Richmond Hill, York Region Transit, and Smart Commute 404-7, and was numbered 210. The objective of this 3-month pilot project was to ease the flow of traffic in and around Highway 404 and Highway 7, especially during the lunch hours, and to provide a connection between customers within the Beaver Creek Business Park and the food plazas along Highway 7. Buses operate in a counterclockwise routing through the Beaver Creek Business Park on Fridays only providing 15 minute service between 11:30am and 2:30pm.
- December 20, 2008 - In the 2009 Annual Service Plan, various service recommendations were proposed such as operating bidirectional service, operating on more days of the week with more frequent service, expansion of the route north to 16th Avenue or east to Woodbine/Highway 7, and pick-up and drop-off in between stops. However, none were implemented and the route was eliminated on this date as it was not performing up to YRT shuttle standards.
Vehicles
Route 210 saw a mix of 30ft service provided by E-Z Rider II/MAX or SLF-230, and 35ft service provided by SLF-235.
