History

• July 1, 2012 - Route 304 began service as part of a major realignment of the express routes. It was created from parts of routes 301 and 303. The introduction of this route allowed residents living along Bur Oak west of Mount Joy GO Station to have a direct, shorter ride home, as well as reallocating capacity. With the introduction of this route, routes 301 and 303 were both restructured to also end at Mount Joy GO Station.

• December 2012 - Route 304 was declared fully accessible.

• September 4, 2022 - Route 304 is realigned to travel the length of Kennedy Road to Bur Oak Avenue. Service at McCowan and Highway 7 is discontinued.

• April 5, 2020 - Route is temporarily suspended due to lower ridership resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

• September 6, 2020 - Full service is restored.

• September 4, 2022 - Route is revised to operate via Bur Oak Avenue, Kennedy Road, Enterprise Boulevard, and Warden Avenue to Highway 407.

• September 3, 2023 - The express fare premium is eliminated for all 300-series routes. Regular fares can now be used on the route.
