Yorkdale GO Bus Terminal is integrated into the lower level of an office building at 1 Yorkdale Road in the former city of North York. The terminal is connected to Yorkdale subway station by an elevated walkway and the Yorkdale Shopping Centre by the office building. Passengers can connect to the TTC 47 Lansdowne bus and YRT 360 Maple Express bus at an on-street bus stop on Yorkdale Road. Because of its proximity to Highway 401 and connection to the subway, many of GO's bus routes serving nearby suburbs terminate and originate here.

The buses enter the terminal on the east side and exit onto a roadway northwest of the terminal. There are 13 platforms which surround the indoor area, and arrivals unload on the south side. Some of the platforms are standard curbside loading, but a number are "pull-in", requiring a bus to back out in order to leave the bay. A ticket counter is located inside the lobby at the south end, where passengers can purchase Greyhound and Ontario Northland tickets in addition to GO Transit tickets. Washroom and waiting facilities are also present as well as vending machines. Escalators in the middle lead up to one of the mall corridors, where the connecting walkway to the subway can be accessed.

History

The terminal is currently undergoing construction to make it wheelchair accessible. An elevator into the office building is being built on the north side of the terminal and is scheduled to be operational in 2013. The pedestrian walkway into the terminal was also rehabilitated in 2012. The terminal was briefly closed for a period of time in late 2012 for construction in the platform area, and part of the lower levels of the parking garage to the north was used as a temporary makeshift terminal for GO buses. Greyhound buses loaded at street level at the TTC/YRT bus stop.

A plaque near the north end of the lobby's waiting area commemorates the official opening of the terminal on October 12th, 1979.
