Barrie Transit 60109, 69709-69909 were 2009 New Flyer D40LF buses. The actual unit number is represented by the second and third digit. Because this order goes past 99, the numbering sequence starts again at 01. This order is part of the Metrolinx Transit Purchasing Co-operative for 2009.

This is the first batch of buses to feature American Seating InSight passenger seats, which have the same La France inserts in blue as previous orders. This is also the first order to feature LED interior lighting.
