Foothill Transit's F1100 Series are Gillig Low Floor buses manufactured in 2000. These Gilligs were Foothill Transit's first ever low floor buses as well as the the last Gilligs they ever purchased. These are currently the last diesel-powered buses left in the Foothill Transit fleet. Some have already been retired and replaced by the F1700 Series NABI 42-BRT's. In all, 32 units remain out of the original 77. They are expected to be completely retired by 2013 to make for a 99% CNG-powered Foothill Transit fleet. The other 1% will be the Proterra electric-powered EcoRide BE35 buses to which will be entering service in September 2010. These Gilligs are operated from the Irwindale/Arcadia Yard by MV Transportation.

These Gilligs are equipped with Detroit Diesel Series 40 engines with Allison B400R 5-speed transmissions.
