Halifax Transit's Portland Hills Terminal is located on Portland Street next to Portland Hills Blvd, and is one of the newer terminals in the system, opening in 2005. The terminal consists of an island platform with a large terminal building in the middle, which features a heated and cooled passenger waiting area and public washrooms. A drivers room is also located in the building. The platform has separate bus stops and bus bays, with inbound and outbound buses on each side. A large parking lot is also located adjacent to the terminal, accessible from Portland Hills Blvd; the entrance from Portland Street is for buses only.

Amenities

  • Glass shelters with benches are also located next to the outer most bus stops
  • Two large concrete tables and benches are located outside of the terminal
  • Bike lockers are available at this terminal
