Kingston VIA Rail station is a railway station located at 1800 John Counter Boulevard, about 7km from Downtown Kingston. The station features two side platforms, with the southern platform accessed by a tunnel from the main building. The station also features a bus loop, taxi stand, and pay parking on the east side of the station. The station is staffed and is wheelchair accessible.

Kingston Transit
Routes 16 and 18 terminate at the train station, and route 7 stop outside the station. Route 7 is a east-west route serving the Invista Center, Cataraqui Center, the Kingston Bus Terminal, and the Dalton/Sir John A. MacDonald area. Route 16 connects Kingston's northern communities and the train station with Kingston Center and the Kingston Bus Terminal. Route 18 connects the station to the Kingston Bus Terminal, Downtown Kingston, Queen's University, and St. Lawrence College in a clockwise loop.

Kingston is a major stop for Toronto-Montreal and Toronto-Ottawa trains. It is also the terminus for the Toronto-Kingston commuter run.
