Limocar

Limocar is an intercity, transit, school bus, and charter service operator in the province of Québec. The company serves the Montreal—Sherbrooke corridor, with bus service to numerous municipalities in the Estrie region.

History

Limocar was started by Claude St-James and Michel Laroche in 1979. The company was acquired by Transdev in July 2007 and became their Canadian division. The company was renamed Transdev Limocar. In March 2011, the holdings of Veolia Transport and Transdev merged to form Veolia Transdev Québec. Transdev Limocar continues as a division of Veolia Transdev and reverted to the Limocar name in October 2012. A new logo and livery comprising of black, turquoise, and yellow-green were also introduced. In 2019, new branding aligning with Transdev was introduced with an all-over red livery.
