My Ride Rock Hill provides public transit service for the city of Rock Hill, South Carolina.

History

My Ride Rock Hill began operations in 2019 utilizing a fleet of Proterra electric buses. The first vehicle was delivered in early 2019 and publicly unveiled on March 26th, 2019. Service was originally scheduled to commence in April 2019, but due to delays in the production of the Proterra vehicles, the start date was pushed into summer 2019. On June 10th, 2019, the route 1 (Downtown/Knowledge Park) began operation, allowing driver training and vehicle testing to continue while still providing some level of passenger service. Following the initial soft launch, the full system began operation on July 1st, 2019.
