The Stewart and Stevenson Apollo T-40 was a 40-foot standard floor transit bus. It was produced in a joint venture with Mercedes-Benz do Brasil. The Apollo was a rebadged Mercedes-Benz O371 that was adapted for the American market. A limited number of units were produced in 1992 for Houston METRO in Houston, TX and LADOT in Los Angeles, CA.
