This building was constructed in 1976/77, and by March of 1977 the building was fully operational. This building includes indoor storage for all buses, bus maintenance facilities and an administration area.

The former repair garage located adjacent to the office and repair garage was converted into a body and paint shop following the construction of the new facility.

Timmins Transit/ONR Terminal

  • Address: 54 Spruce St. South (Spruce St. South and Third Ave.)

The Current terminal has a Shared waiting area for both Timmins Transit and Ontario Northland passengers, washrooms, vending area, and a improved bus stop layout. Dispatching facilities and drivers area and admin offices.

The previous terminal was located at 23 Cedar Street South, the terminal was constructed in 1978 and opened in January 1979. The terminal included a waiting area for passengers, dispatching facilities and a drivers' area.

Schumacher Bus Stand

The Schumacher Bus Stand is located in the Dwyer building on First Avenue, and provides a waiting area for Schumacher passengers. The city leases this space from Schumacher Bus Lines Ltd. This stand is not in use right now due to the temporary routing changes due to the sinkhole at the west end of Father Costello road.

South Porcupine Terminal

This sub-terminal is located on Main Street at the Maurice Londry Community Centre. It provides a small but adequate waiting area for passengers. In 1993, Timmins Police Service took over a portion of the terminal for their store front operation in South Porcupine. This has proven to be beneficial to both the Transit Department and the Timmins Police Services.

All of the full size buses and all of the minibuses are fully accessible vehicles that can be used by persons with physical disabilities.
