Toronto Transit Commission W700-W790
Toronto Transit Commission W700-W790 are Arboc Spirit of Independence (SOI 21) bodied buses on Ram ProMaster chassis built in 2020-2021.
In February 2020, the TTC board authorized the purchase of one 7-metre bus, with an additional 90 units to be delivered upon approval of the pilot bus.[1] The buses will be procured through the Metrolinx Transit Procurement Initiative, for which Creative Carriage was the successful bidder.
They are intended to replace the remainder of the Friendly Bus fleet (W100-W209 and W215-W300). The larger body is intended to accommodate multiple and larger mobility devices than the 6-metre ProMaster CS-2 buses.
