The Wave Transit System is the transit system in Mobile, Alabama. It currently operates 10 routes along with a demand response paratransit service.

Mobile City Lines operated transit service in Mobile until 1971, when operations were taken over by the Mobile Transit Authority.

The city of Mobile assumed operation of public transit in 1995 following the collapse of Mobile Transit Authority, and the system became known as Metro Transit. In 2005, it was re-branded as The Wave.
