York Region Transit 1301, 1303

York Region Transit 1301 & 1303 were MCI MC-9 buses built and delivered in November 1981.

Originally built for GO Transit with the same fleet numbers, they were bought secondhand by Can-Ar to be used for Vaughan Transit, and were acquired by YRT during amalgamation in 2001. They were "recapped" (retrofitted with more modern front and rear ends) sometime after their sale from GO. These buses retained their original GO fleet numbers, but were repainted in the Vaughan and later YRT swoosh liveries. After ending service with YRT, for a time they were used in coach service by Can-Ar on the Palace Pier and Palace Place shuttles that ran from to Union Station in Toronto, before eventually being put up for sale in 2008.
