Stalwart23, aka Nolan Kolmel is a bus enthusiast who rides Valley Metro/RPTA buses once in a while, and has ridden on MTA buses back when he lived in Queens, NY. The first bus he ever rode on in NYC was a 1988 MCI TC-40102A Classic bus on a Queens Surface Corp. express route in April 1994. Oldest bus he rode on in regular service was a 1982 GMC RTS-04 bus for MTA NYCT in Fall 1997. He also likes to research info on different types of buses, their history, the rosters, and would like to see historic information on buses preserved for future bus fanatics. He is also the current secretary for the Motor Bus Society, succeeding the late Jerry Squier. He is also an autistic savant, diagnosed at birth.
