York Region Transit 7201-7205 were Van Hool AG300 buses built and delivered in 2007. They were painted in Viva colours and used exclusively in Viva service.
In order to address the overcrowding issue on Viva Blue, more articulated buses were needed. This order was approved in late February 2006, purchased for a total of $4.1 million. $1.4 million of this order was covered by the Ontario Transit Vehicles Program, while $2.6 million was covered by gas tax revenues.
They primarily operated on Viva Blue, and on Viva Purple during weekdays.
These buses were retired in early 2020, after being replaced by 1971-1980.
