Cardinal Coach Lines 2796 and 2886-2889 were 1998 model Blue Bird TC/2000 FE buses. The units featured air brakes, dual roof hatches, an external light monitor panel above the driver's seat, and an interior speaker/PA system.
Originally delivered to O'Connor Bus Sales in the U.S. state of Maine, the units were then purchased by the Bruce Transportation Group Inc. (a carrier based in the U.S. state of New Hampshire). They were then purchased second-hand by Cardinal Coach Lines in 2006, and arrived in Calgary the same year. Based on VIN registration records, there was at least one more unit purchased, however, its fleet number remains unknown.
