Cardinal Coach Lines 2818-2819 were 1997-99 model Blue Bird International 3800 buses. Both units were notable for their driver-side emergency exit door; other features included tinted windows, air brakes, an extra exterior rubrail (5 compared to the typical 4) and an interior speaker/PA system.

The units were originally delivered to an unknown operator in the United States, before being absorbed into Ryder Student Transportation, and subsequently, First Student in the early 2000s. The units were purchased by Cardinal Coach Lines in 2006, and were assigned to the Calgary branch until their retirements.
