Cardinal Coach Lines 2840-2863
Cardinal Coach Lines 2840-2863 were 2002 model Thomas FS-65 buses. The units featured a rear wheelchair lift, rear air ride suspension, an exterior entry light above the passenger door, an interior speaker/PA system, and passenger fans. Various seating configurations were found among the buses; some units (such as 2847) had a seating capacity of only 6 passengers and 5 wheelchairs, while others (such as 2860) had a seating capacity of 36 passengers due to the removal of the rear wheelchair lift itself.
The buses were purchased second-hand from an unknown transportation company in the Alaska, and arrived in Calgary in 2006. Retirement of the units began in 2016 and intensified over the Summer of 2017 due to the company's loss of all Christine Meikle School and Emily Follensbee School special needs routes, which were awarded to 4Seasons Transportation. By the end of 2017, all units are believed to have been retired.
