Cardinal Coach Lines 6220-6223

First Student Canada 6220-6223 were 2009 model Thomas Saf-T-Liner C2 buses delivered in 2008. All four units were delivered brand new to the Calgary branch, and featured white bodies with black rubrails, tinted double-paned windows, black window pillars, air brakes, dual roof hatches, high-backed fabric seats, and an interior climate control system.

Three of the units; 6220, 6221, and 6223; were used as the inaugural buses on the newly launched CrossIron Mills Employee Shuttle service, which was established in August 2009 in conjunction with the mall's grand opening. As part of the service, all three units received special liveries advertising the mall. The units were assigned to the service until late 2011, at which point they were replaced by 100882 and 101221.

Following its withdrawal from the service, 6220 had its special livery removed, was repainted into school bus yellow and had its interior seating converted to standard bench seating before entering service on a CBE school route in early 2012. Its last confirmed sighting was in May 2018. The other two units; 6221 and 6223; also had their special liveries removed, but were immediately transferred to an unknown branch in either Alberta or Saskatchewan in their original white and black colors. There have been no confirmed sightings of either unit since 2011.

Unlike its sister units, 6222 was immediately transferred out of Calgary following its delivery in 2008. Its service history is entirely unknown, and it was not spotted in any capacity until November 2023, at which point it was listed for sale by a private owner in Bonnyville, AB. Its fleet number of "V6222" suggests that it was based in Saskatchewan at some point in its service life.
