First Student 219547-219827

First Student 219427-219827 were 2007 model IC CE buses. These units featured air brakes, tall tinted windows, rear mounted stop sign, driver-side emergency exit door, internal speaker/PA system, and a unique "lopsided" seating arrangement in which all left-side seats seated 3 children, and all right-side seats seated 2 children. The units also had a white roof, as was common with California-specified units at the time, but lost this feature not long after their arrival in Calgary.

All units began their lives in California in 2006, operating for Laidlaw Transportation. Following that company's acquisition by First Student, all units were transitioned into its large fleet throughout the state. Throughout 2016 and 2017, many units arrived in Calgary, Alberta and over the next three months and over the next three months received various modifications to bring them up to Canadian standards. This work included (but was not limited to) repainting the white roofs to the standard yellow color and the application of "Sortie de Secours" decals over all emergency windows and doors.
