First Student Canada 085479 was a 2000-2002 model Thomas International 3800 bus that featured a wheelchair lift, dual roof hatches and smaller "two person" seats.
The unit began its life operating for King Transportation Ltd., a Winnipeg-based school service provider. Although unconfirmed, it is believed that this unit was numbered "479" during this time. Following the company's acquisition by First Student Canada in 2008, the unit was transitioned into the latter's Winnipeg fleet. In 2009, the unit was transferred to First Student's Calgary branch where it was renumbered into 085479; a number it retained until its retirement.
