First Student Canada 2005 Thomas Saf-T-Liner EFs (Ex-Laidlaw)

First Student Canada operated over a dozen 2005 Thomas Saf-T-Liner EF buses which it obtained via its acquisition of Laidlaw Education Services' in 2008. These units featured a short roofline with untinted windows, air brakes and an air operated door.
All units were originally delivered to Laidlaw Education Services' Ottawa branch in 2004. Following their transition into First Student Canada's fleet in 2008, they remained in Ottawa until the branch's closure in June 2015; the result of the company being outbid by Voyageur Bus Lines. In July 2015, several units from this series were transferred to the First Student Calgary branch, where most units saw a relatively short service life before retirement.
