First Student Canada 201137-201637 were 2007 model IC RE300 buses. These units featured tall tinted windows, rear mounted stop sign, driver-side emergency exit door, internal speaker/PA system, and a unique "lopsided" seating arrangement in which all left-side seats seated 3 children, and all right-side seats seated 2 children. The units also had a white roof, as was common with California-specified units at the time, but lost this feature not long after their arrival in Calgary.

All 6 units began their lives in California in 2006, operating for Laidlaw Transportation. Following that company's acquisition by First Student, all units were transitioned into its large fleet throughout the state. In May 2016, the units arrived in Calgary and over the next three months received various modifications to bring them up to Canadian standards. This work included (but was not limited to) repainting the white roofs to the standard yellow color and the application of "Sortie de Secours" decals over all emergency windows and doors. One of the units, 201637, received far more extensive work which included a complete repaint of the entire body as well as the replacement of its "School Bus" decals in both the front and rear. The units were utilized on regular school routes as well as charter work until approximately March 2019, at which time all 6 abruptly disappeared from the Calgary area and have not been spotted since.
