Los Angeles Department of Transportation 11201-11203 are StarTrans Classic American Trolleys manufactured in 2011.
These trolleys are operated by Veolia Transportation and replaced the 2001 01001-01003 trolleys. When these buses were first new, they were exclusively operated on the Lincoln Heights/Chinatown route. They are currently only used as spares for roadcalls and not used frequently. As of Saturday, July 21st, 2012 unit #11203 was used on the Observatory Shuttle. This is the first time these trolleys have operated on the Observatory Shuttle.
