Halifax Transit route 34 'Glenbourne' is a rush hour express route servicing the Clayton Park area. The route runs from Lacewood Terminal to downtown Halifax via Dunbrack Street, Glenforest Drive, Bedford Highway, Kempt Road and Gottingen Street, terminating on Summer Street at the Halifax Infirmary. The route duplicated the route 30 Glenforest between Lacewood Terminal and downtown Halifax.
Originally, the route also serviced the Parkland Drive area, currently serviced by the routes 4 Rosedale, 16 Parkland and 35 Parkland Express. The route was shortened with the outbound terminus moved to Lacewood Terminal, possibly at with the introduction of the route 35 Parkland in 2003.
In 2010 the route became one of Halifax Transit's urban express routes, with limited stops in metro Halifax.
