Reolian Public Transport

Reolian Public Transport (Portuguese: Sociedade de Transportes Públicos Reolian) was a public bus operator in the Macau Special Administrative Region. Reolian was a joint venture between Veolia Transport - RATP Asia (Veolia Transport and RATP Développement joint venture) and H. Nolasco & Cia., Lda. On September 23, 2009, the Macau Transport Bureau, opened tenders for operation of it's public bus system. Reolian's submitted a bid and was accepted. They were granted three groups of routes to operate beginning October 15, 2010. However due to the ongoing debate over the Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos de Macau's bid, the date was pushed back. They began operations on August 1, 2011.

On August 5, 2013, H. Nolasco & Cia., Lda. divested their holdings in the company and the remaining shares have been transferred to a Mainland Chinese man.

On October 1, 2013, the company published a press release on their website, declaring their decision to file for bankruptcy. The Transport Department, as of October 2, 2013, has published a press release stating that the Special Administrative Region government has taken over the full operations of Reolian routes for 6 months to maintain bus services and ensuring that there will be no stopping of services. In addition, the SAR government will also be releasing Reolian routes back out to public tender.

A new company, known as New Era, with Sociedade de Transportes Colectivos de Macau as majority owner, was created in 2014. New Era Public Bus took over all assets and operations of Reolian.

Reolian Public Transport operated 26 routes throughout the region. All routes listed were circular unless stated otherwise.
