Puget Sound Vessels

  • Retirement is on hold until fleet is fixed or the Chimacum enters service.

  • First class built for WSF.
  • Have golden strips painted onto the whistle to mark 50 years in service with the fleet.
  • M/V Evergreen State is retired.

  • All rebuilt in the 1980s or 1990s due to a lot of problems with the class.
  • All other vessels, except the M/V Sealth, in this class received gallery decks for 124 cars.
  • M/V Sealth can only carry 90 cars while the rest had ramps installed to allow for 124 cars to be carried.
  • M/V Chelan is one of the two vessels that can do the Sidney B.C to Anacortes, WA route.
