Caltrain 112-118, 219-226, 229-230 are 2002 Bombardier BiLevel passenger cars. They were originally ordered by Sounder, but were purchased by Caltrain while being built, and were delivered directly to Caltrain. Despite this, they retain their originally planned Sounder fleet numbers.
These cars were purchased as part of the Caltrain Express initiative, which introduced "Baby Bullet" express service along the corridor. The BiLevel cars initially operated exclusively on Baby Bullet trips, but now may be seen on any service.
