Cardinal Coach Lines 3046-3050 were 1999 model Blue Bird TC/2000 FE buses featuring short tinted windows, dual roof hatches, interchangeable destination signs, an exterior light monitor panel above the driver's seat, and an interior speaker/PA system.

The units were originally delivered brand new to Ryder Student Transportation's Maryland branches in September 1998. Following the company's acquisition by the FirstGroup, the units were rebranded under the First Student name. They continued to operate in the state of Maryland until 2007, at which point they were sold to Cardinal Coach Lines, and arrived at the Calgary branch the same year. Two of the units; 3046 and 3048; spent their entire post-transfer lives in Alberta, while 3047, 3049, and 3050 spent most of their service lives in Saskatchewan.
