Mill Woods Transit Centre is a bus terminal and future LRT station operated by Edmonton Transit Service in southeastern Edmonton, AB.

It is located west of Hewes Way, south of 28 Avenue, and north of Mill Woods Town Centre shopping mall.

History

The original Mill Woods Transit Centre was located on the west side of Hewes Way, north of 25 Avenue. It opened in September 2000, and was built to provide relief for Lakewood Transit Centre, which due to population growth in the southeastern portion of Edmonton was handling more buses than it was built to accommodate.

Mill Woods Transit Centre was the second location to get its clock tower replaced by a LED clock/temperature display; the first was Clareview.

With construction of the Valley Line LRT, the original Mill Woods Transit Centre was replaced with a new terminal to the northwest of the original location, which would be closer to the planned LRT station on 28 Avenue. The new Mill Woods Transit Centre opened on April 25, 2021.
