Rhode Island Public Transit Authority 4034-4504

Rhode Island Public Transit Authority 4034-4504 were 1985-1986 GMC RTS-04 (T8J-204) and RTS-06 (T8J-206) buses built in 1985 and 1986, respectively. These buses were purchased by RIPTA from the Metropolitan Transportation Authority in late 2000 and were all out of service by 2004.

Most units were painted in the standard RIPTA "wave" livery, though a handful only received new paint on the front module and retained their NYCTA striping beneath advertising wraps on the sides. Additional units were acquired for parts only and were scrapped by RIPTA while still in NYCTA colors.
