Ernestown Township Transit operated the transit service in Amherstview, Ontario, immediately west of Kingston, Ontario.

The transit service was contracted out to Kingston Township Transits operator Laidlaw. When Kingston Transit and Kingston Township Transit was merged in 1998 Ernestown Township Transit remained seperate, operating a single MCI TC40-102N "Classic" through Laidlaw. This bus was only used on route 10 between the Kingston Centre and Amherstview.

In 2002 Kingston Transit took over operation of the transit in Amherstview and the bus was transferred.

In 2005 there was talk of Loyalist Township (the new name of Ernestown Township) buying a bus for its service which would be maintained by Kingston Transit but nothing came out of this.
