History

In 1958 Ford's Bus Lines of The Pas, Manitoba was purchased by James McAdam. In 1963 he changed the name of his company to Kelsey Bus Lines Limited.

Kelsey Bus Lines Ltd. was owned and operated by James son, Don McAdam until September 2014, when it was purchased by the Aseneskak Casino Limited Partnership.

On October 19, 2018 Kelsey Bus Lines 2014 Ltd., announced that it will begin offering regularly scheduled bus service between The Pas and Winnipeg as a result of the cancellation of service operated by Greyhound Canada on October 31, 2018.

The owners of Aseneskak Casino have since established "Mahihkan Bus Lines Limited Partnership" and the Kelsey Bus Lines 2014 division has been sold and transferred to the new partnership and renamed to Mahihkan Bus Lines effective April 1, 2019.

Mahihkan in Cree means wolf. The company slogan is “TRAVEL WITH THE PACK’.
