The Scania N UD4x2 is a low floor, double deck city bus chassis with a transversely mounted diesel engine at the rear. With the introduction of Euro 4 legislation, it was launched as the replacement for Scania's N94UD4x2.

The N UD4x2 has been fitted with boddies by Alexander Dennis and Optare. Until 2014, Scania also offered their own OmniCity body which, as per Scania naming convention, is denoted with a "C" at the front of the model name.
