Route 42 was a bus route operated by OC Transpo in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Route Details
Route 42 was a peak period route that operated from Elmvale to Downtown. Service operated Monday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM (AM peak) and 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM (PM peak).
History
September 3rd, 1995
- New route serving Greenboro and Hunt Club Park to supplement Route 45. It will travel via Hunt Club and the new Southeast Transitway to downtown.
August 31st, 1997
- Will be scheduled to provide evenly timed service through the community. Route now serves Esson.
June 15th, 1998
- Route is extended to serve Elmvale Shopping Centre for better connections.
August 29th, 1999
- Route is cancelled and replaced by revised Route 144 which extends to/from downtown during peak periods.
