Route 46 ECMC Shuttle is a former bus service of the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority .
Creation of the service dated back to 1986, upon the opening of the new Metro Rail line on Main Street. Part of the purpose of the line was to create a shorter non-stop shuttle from the rail line directly from Delavan-College Station along Delavan Avenue and Grider Street to the entrance of the Erie County Medical Center.
The line was estimated to make a round trip in about 20-25 minutes.
The line continued for less than a year and was discontinued due to low ridership demand.
