Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation 8201-8215 were 1982 GMC RTS-04 (T8J-204) buses delivered new to the Southeastern Michigan Transportation Authority in March 1982[1]. They were transferred to SMART on January 17, 1989, and retained their original numbers.

All were retired in 1995 after SMART acquired enough of their own buses to allow for the retirement of all ex-SEMTA vehicles.
