Roosevelt Island Red Bus Service

The Roosevelt Island Red Bus, a service of the Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC), provides bus service on Roosevelt Island in New York City. In addition to its regular service connecting the Roosevelt Island tramway and subway stations with the rest of the island, the Red Bus also operates senior shopper specials, special event, and commuter service, the latter only in effect when the tramway is shut down.

Routes

Map & schedules
The Red Bus runs on a single route with regular, weekday rush-hour, and weekday morning express service between the Tram Station and the Octagon.

Fares

As of April 1, 2014, riding on all buses is fare-free.
