Société de transport de Montréal 40-901 to 40-930 are New Flyer XE40 buses built and delivered in 2019-2020 and are the first long-range electric bus order for the STM.

The first unit was delivered to Stinson garage in November 2019. These units feature A/C, USB chargers under the seats, plastic American Seating InSight Prime seats, a second iBus screen and rear doors with sensors. 440-kWh Li-NMC batteries offers about 250 km of range, along with roof rails for slow charging overnight at Stinson^[1].

They are part of a joint order with Société de transport de Laval, wich ordered 10 buses of the same type.

The rest of the order is scheduled for delivery from June 2020.
