Oakville Transit is the public transit provider in Oakville, Ontario. It has been operated by the Town of Oakville since 1972.

Current Bus Fares
Each Oakville Transit bus is equipped with a GFI Genfare CENTSaBILL farebox that collects cash and tickets. The exact amount of money that is put into the farebox can be seen on the driver's side. Oakville Transit transfers are printed using the Presto device. All paper tickets and passes have been discontinued.
Under a new pilot project, all children ages 12 and under ride free effective March 1, 2021.[2] This was later expanded to include youth between the ages of 13-19 and Seniors above the age of 65.
