This route services Bayview Avenue between Davisville Avenue and Steeles Avenue East. It also provides service on Davisville Avenue. There is one southern terminal, which is Davisville Station. Northern terminals include Steeles Avenue East for branch 11A and Sunnybrook Hospital for branch 11C.
Branch 11A operates via Sunnybrook Hospital in both directions.

History
LFS #1001 at the Bayview-Steeles Loop.
- November 21, 1999 - Route made accessible with low-floor buses.
- February 19, 2007 - All afternoon peak period and early evening Saturday service is adjusted to operate along the main 11 branch.
- November 23, 2008 - Moved to Wilson Division. Weekend and holiday service extended from Sheppard to Steeles and service extended to operate until 1:00 AM everyday. Short turn branch 11A to Sheppard is eliminated along with service on Hawksbury Drive and Bayview Mews. Bike rack service implemented on the route.
- June 22, 2014 - Due to a system-wide reorganization of route branch designations, branch 11 to Steeles via Sunnybrook is changed to 11A. New peak-period short turn branch 11B replaces former route 28 Davisville.
- June 20, 2016 - Branch 11B is eliminated. Extra service on branch 11C replaces the eliminated 11B branch.
- March 28, 2021 - This route was transferred to Eglinton Division upon the opening of the brand new McNicoll Division.
- March 31, 2024 - Due to construction requiring the closure of the bus terminal at Lawrence West Station, branch 11C is temporarily extended to Roe Loop (Avenue Road) via Lawrence Avenue to replace the suspended route 124 Sunnybrook.
Overnight Service
Overnight service is not provided, however, the route operates until 1:00 AM every day.
