History
- June 7, 2008 - New seasonal branch 28A to the new Evergreen Brickworks is introduced. Service will operate on Saturdays only during the summer from May to October.
- November 23, 2008 - Route is made bike-rack equipped.
- June 19, 2011 - New Sunday and Holiday summer service is introduced on the 28A branch to Brick Works.
- September 6, 2011 - Saturday service on branch 28A is changed to operate year-round. Sunday service continues to operate only during the summer months from May to October.
- June 22, 2014 - Branch 28 to Bayview is changed to operate as the new 11B Bayview branch. Route is renamed from 28 Davisville and operates over the now defunct 28A branch routing to Brick Works.
- June 20, 2016 - Year-round weekday service is introduced. Buses on this route now operate until 1:00 AM every day.
- March 28, 2021 - This route was transferred to Eglinton upon the opening of the brand new McNicoll Division.
- February 12, 2023 - Route interlined with 14 Glencairn during all service periods; transferred to Mount Dennis.
