This route services Keele Street between Bloor Street West and Murray Ross Parkway as well as the York University grounds. Its southern terminal is Keele Station and the northern terminal is Pioneer Village Station for its one branch, 41.

History

Orion VII #1057 at York Boulevard and Keele.
  • March 19, 2000 - Weekday early evening short turn branch 41A to Sheppard is eliminated with all buses operating to York University.
  • October 16, 2005 - All late evening runs begin to serve York University. Branch 41C is discontinued, ending route 41 service to Murray Ross Parkway, Sentinel Road and The Pond Road.
  • February 18, 2007 - Route is made accessible with low-floor buses.
  • August 31, 2008 - Bike rack service is added to route 41.
  • November 23, 2008 - Moved to newly-opened Mount Dennis Division.
  • October 13, 2009 - New peak-period express branch 41E is introduced providing express service along Keele Street between Keele Station and York University. Buses serve stops at major intersections only.
  • June 22, 2014 - Due to a system-wide reorganization of route branch designations, branch 41 to York University and Steeles is changed to 41A.
  • January 12, 2015 - Articulated bus service begins on this route.
  • December 17, 2017 - With the opening of the new Line 1 extension, buses are rerouted to operate via Murray Ross Parkway, Sentinel Road, The Pond Road, York University busway, and Ian MacDonald Boulevard to serve the new Pioneer Village Station. Buses no longer operate on York Boulevard. Branch 41B to Steeles and Petrolia is discontinued.
  • November 18, 2018 - Branch 41A is changed to 41. As part of the TTC's initiative to reorganizing the route names of surface express bus routes, limited-stop peak-period service provided by branch 41E is changed to 941 Keele Express SmallAccessible.gif.
