The Motor Coach Industries TC40-102N, also known as the Classic was a transit bus that was built from 1987 until 1992. Production of the Classic has started under General Motors in 1983 and was sold to MCI in 1987. In turn the design passed to Nova Bus in 1993.

An air-conditioned version was available, which was designated TC40-102A.

MCI Built 2,415 Classics between 1987 and 1992.
